Assignment 1: The Self-Portrait

The Instructions:

Using whatever graphics software you have for your computer (Photoshop especially), create a selfportrait. Use any technique you like:

Look in a mirror or don't, abstract or realistic -- doesn't matter which! I've even had some students with no graphics experience (or software!) complete this assignment using word processing shareware -- sort of typewriter art! Some of it surprisingly creative!

So relax, don't worry, and give me that self portrait!

This introductory assignment, besides being a lot of fun, will give me an idea about your particular level of skill, and the software you like to use.

They offered me the corner office, the one with the view. I laughed. I told them I'd rather have the 21" monitor.
